Between holding our Fall Garage Sale and preparing Turkey Pies for our upcoming Bake Sale, it has been a super busy week!
On Saturday, October 23rd, we held our Fall Garage Sale and BBQ since the pandemic had started. It was very successful and we were able to raise over $700! It was great to see so many people from our community come out to support us, and chat to catch up. We certainly miss all of our regular functions and look forward to when we can meet again. On Sunday, October 24th, we began cooking the turkeys needed to make our famous Turkey Pies. On Monday and Tuesday, our assembly line of volunteers assembled and packaged the pies, which were then frozen. This year we have a new record of pies...721! Thank you to everyone that helped purchase and make the pies. We greatly appreciate your contributions and help! We would also like to thank everyone that helped at our Garage Sale, either by donating items, helping with the sale, or coming in as a customer. Your support does not go unnoticed and we are so lucky to belong to such a supportive community!
